Want to See a Sea Turtle in Florida? Consider visiting one of the state-authorized facilities that care for or rehabilitate sea turtles. These centers operate under permits issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and are part of the Marine Turtle Permit Holder (MTPH) program.
Many of these facilities offer educational tours featuring turtles in their care. Keep in mind that some may charge admission. For details, contact the facility directly or visit their website linked below
. Use the "Find a Facility!" tab to explore an interactive map of locations.
You can also explore the Sea Turtle Viewing Opportunities webpage to find permitted turtle walks, hatchling releases, or nest evaluations open to the public.
